NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach

Jen has a passion for movement, dance, and all things fitness. She believes movement creates the foundation for success in every aspect of life. Born and raised in Michigan, Jen studied dance at the University of Michigan before pursuing a career as an attorney. After her third child was born, she made the decision to return to her first love: movement. She became a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Barre and Group Fitness instructor, and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach (NASM) who has also completed Barre Fusion teacher training.

Jen loves combining Barre, Pilates, strength training, and yoga to create a well rounded routine for her clients. As a dancer, Barre instructor, and long time practitioner of Pilates and yoga, she brings a keen eye for proper body alignment and posture to every session, and builds each client's program around stability, mobility, and recovery, not just strength. She also draws on her experience with CrossFit and traditional and functional strength training to help clients focused on performance and hypertrophy.

As a Certified Nutrition Coach, Jen helps clients reach their goals through an approach tailored to each individual, typically incorporating calorie and macronutrient tracking alongside balanced, sustainable nutrition habits.

Jen takes a holistic approach to fitness, curating personalized training plans for clients of every level, from beginners to those experienced in strength training. Her sessions often combine progressive overload strength training, mat Pilates, mobility work, and Barre, with cardio assigned outside of sessions, and she's excited to share her passion for dance, fitness, and movement with every client she works with.

Alissa

TRAINER

CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) Trainer

Burgener Strength Certified in Olympic Weightlifting

Alissa believes movement is one of the greatest gifts people can give themselves—not because of how it changes the body, but because of what it allows them to do with their lives.

For more than 20 years, she has immersed herself in strength training, functional fitness, and outdoor adventure. She has competed in bodybuilding, marathons, Olympic weightlifting, and CrossFit competitions, and has spent years coaching others while continuing to challenge herself as an athlete.

She is a CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) Trainer and Burgener Strength Certified in Olympic Weightlifting, with experience coaching individuals and groups across a wide range of ages, abilities, and fitness backgrounds.

Outside the gym, she is almost always moving—mountain biking, trail running, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, lifting, yoga, or exploring wherever the next adventure takes her. She believes movement should expand and support the life each person wants to live.

Her coaching philosophy is built around creating a strong foundation. Proper movement, functional strength, mobility, nutrition, recovery, and consistency are the building blocks that allow people to move well for decades—

She is passionate about helping people—especially women—realize they are capable of more than they think. To her, strength goes beyond the weight on the bar; it is built through consistency, trust in the body, resilience, and confidence that carries into everyday life.

For Alissa, coaching means meeting people where they are, listening, and creating a plan that fits their lives. She wants every client to feel challenged, supported, and truly seen. She believes fitness should be personal and adaptable to each individual’s goals, lifestyle, and season of life.

Her goal is simple: to help people build strength and confidence so they can live with more freedom, energy, and joy—inside and beyond the gym.
