Jen has a passion for movement, dance and all things fitness.  She believes that movement creates the foundation for success in all aspects of life. Jen was born and raised in Michigan and studied dance at the University of Michigan, but then went on to pursue a career as an attorney.

After her third child was born, Jen made the decision to return to her passion for movement and became a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Barre and Group Fitness instructor.  She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach (NASM) and also completed Barre Fusion teacher training.  Jen loves combining Barre work, Pilates, strength training and yoga to create a well balanced fitness routine for herself and others.  Jen is also a competitive runner and has qualified for and completed three Boston Marathons.  She is an avid hiker, weight lifter and dancer.  Jen is excited to continue to share her passion for dance, fitness and movement with others. 

Jen loves to curating personalized and well rounded training plans to fit each individual client’s needs. She loves to see her clients break through perceived mental, emotional, and physical barriers and accomplish things they didn’t know they were capable of.

 

As a mom and former lawyer, Jen has the knowledge and experience to help manage your busy schedule and prioritize your health and wellness.

  • Jen has experience and knowledge across several areas of fitness and nutrition. As a competitive runner, she has won several races ranging from the 5K to a 12 hour ultra marathon.

    Jen is also an avid strength trainer and focuses on performance and hypertrophy. She has experience with CrossFit and traditional and functional strength training. As a dancer, Barre instructor and long-time practitioner of pilates and yoga, Jen has a keen eye for proper body alignment and posture and values the importance of stability, mobility and recovery.

    As a Certified Nutrition Coach, Jen helps clients reach their goals through an approach that works best for each individual. Typical method include calorie and macro nutrient tracking and developing balanced and sustainable nutrition habits.

    Jen believes in a holistic approach to fitness. She combines progressive overload strength training, mat pilates, mobility exercises, and sometimes barre work in her client sessions. She assigns cardio for her clients to perform outside of training sessions. She uses app-based workout and nutrition tracking software to help clients stay consistent and measure progress over time.
